Sisk Group Content Management System
Magico has worked with Sisk Group since 2004 when we were approached to provide an administrative tool to tie in with the graphic design of their new website. Using the MagiBIZ solution, Magico provided SISK with a means to add content to each of their websites (both Sisk Construction Ireland and Sisk Construction UK). This facility was especially important as Sisk provide details on each of the projects that they are currently working on. With the content management system, they now had the facility to add text and images for each of these projects, allowing the information to appear on their website without any time delay or additional costs.
Homepage Redesign John Sisk & Sons Ltd
Following the success of this project, in 2007 Magico acquired the contract to redesign the homepage of John Sisk & Son Ltd Ireland. As one of the largest construction companies in Ireland it was essential that the homepage of the site convey the size and scope of the projects undertaken by the company. Magico communicated this through a flash animation which highlights some of the company’s most recent builds and the national locations where these builds have taken place. This template design was then rolled out to the UK to ensure consistency of the brand www.sisk.co.uk.
New Online Presence for Sisk Healthcare & Subsidaries
In 2006 and 2007, Sisk Group diversified into the Healthcare Sector and in 2007 contracted Magico to provide an online presence for www.siskhealthcare.ie and each of the new medical device distribution companies they had acquired; M.E.D. Surgical
,Cardiac Services, TEKNO Surgical & Synapse Medical. This was an interesting project for our design team as it required the provision of a flexible template for the parent company which was then customised and rolled out to each of the medical companies Sisk Healthcare had acquired. This ensured consistency of the new Sisk Healthcare brand while also retaining the individuality of each companies identity.
Development of eCommerce Online Shopping Facility to Cardiac Services & Tekno Surgical
As an extension of the project, later in 2008 Magico deployed an online shopping facility to TEKNO Surgical and Cardiac Services. This development places each company at the forefront of technology with the ability to offer their customers the facility to order products and consumables online.
